Every moto Mom and Dad should have to watch this video, and sign an attestation that they watched and understand it, before THEIR kid can enter any AMA sanctioned event. Parents at events are the WORST when it comes to not knowing a flagger is there first and foremost to keep their kid from getting hit by another rider on the track, 8:50. IF it is clear and they can safely help your kid up, then they will. If it is not safe, your kid just may have to give up some track position until it IS safe. Watching ass clown parents playing Crossy Road running onto the active course trying help their little Ryder Jett McDeegan up two seconds after he tips over, while cursing out everyone on the track their kid isn't being helped by flaggers busy doing their jobs, is a recipe to get this sport permanently cancelled due to lawsuits when they get collected.

Great video....remember flaggers every track is ran different so don’t go out there without knowing exactly what your duties to the riders and your safety is....know the expectations from the track owners ....being clear on what is expected of you ...that is why showing up early is always good . Asking to stand with someone is always good until you are comfortable and ready to be on your own. This video was a great training tool very thorough great video this needs to be a requirement before a flagger gets to flag in my opinion and some experience in the sport or requirement to observe 1-2 races to see what can happen I also think that every flagger should put the gear on to see the perspective of a rider so they can make sure they make themselves visible in a safe way...also flaggers should watch a go pro so they can see how fast they go by us and can miss a flag if not flaggers aren’t quick on there feet and ready to pull a flag fast enough for riders to be aware of what is coming up ahead and how to avoid danger of themselves and more harm to other riders in the track up ahead!
